Located in the peaceful Umbria hills between Gubbio and Perugia, immersed in nature with breathtaking views of the rolling hills of the Umbrian countryside. The gardens, the silence, extreme relaxation, wellness center with salt water swimming pool, jacuzzi spa and massage facilities all await you.


Follow a garden path to find a 1200 sq. ft. yoga studio filled with all the props. Let the chef spoil you with healthy and organic cuisine including tomatoes, salads and vegetables from the kitchen garden. Olive oil from the olive grove, aromatic herbs from the garden, yogurt, cakes and breads, all homemade.


Gallo has 10 rooms all with private bathroom, each equally fresh and silent, each different from one another. The furnishings adorning every room were all handpicked and brought back one by one from many distant journeys made by the owners.


Cost $1375.00 CAD plus HST

Price Includes accommodations, meals, yoga and tours.

Not included: flights, transfers and alcohol (5 eur corkage fee applies to wine brought in to restaurants)

Local Hike
Explore the nature trails surrounding Locanda, including nearby waterfalls. Paola and Irish, the owners, will be happy to point the way.

Lunch 1-2pm

Visit Renza The Weaver
A pleasant ten-minute walk takes you to Renza’s hand weaving workshop. Here you can learn the art of hand looming and dyeing fabric with vegetable dyes. She also has lovely handmade items for sale.

Book in for a massage and/or  enjoy the spa area...pool and jacuzzi

10:00 am pick-up at Locanda del Gallo. 
Tour of Perugia  (including the Basilica of St. Francis)   Lunch and wine tasting included

Gubbio Market Trip
Depart 10:00am – Return 1:30pm for lunch
Gubbio is a well-preserved medieval hill town with great views over the beautiful countryside. Market Day is a special treat and don’t miss the spectacular ceramic shops and the Roman Theater dating back to the 1st Century.

What to Bring

 

No need to bring yoga mats, bring good hiking shoes or running shoes, bathing suit, dress in layers, up to date passport, blow dryers at hotel...remember different outlets! Average temperature is 20 degrees celcius in May


Transportation Options for Locanda del Gallo


BY PLANE the most convenient airports are:

- Perugia S. Egidio 15 Km.

– Rome, Fumincino and Ciampino airports 200 Km.

– Florence Peretola 170 Km.

– Ancona Falconara 130 Km

– Bologna Forlì 150 Km.


BY TRAIN the closest railway station is Perugia 20km from the Locanda. You can take the train from any of the above airports, then take a taxi from the railway station in Perugia to Locanda del Gallo.


Car rentals and car service are available from all major airports

Angela is the owner and creator of Angels-landing Yoga & Wellness. Yoga and fitness are fundamental to her life, keeping her strong, grounded, and centered. 


Angela received her 200 CYT training in Costa Rica. Teaching yoga has continually inspired her to acquire a greater depth of knowledge, always seeking, learning, and growing. Her classes work with the body's subtle energy, connecting movements and breath to create a soulful yoga practice with attention to detail and alignment.


Great emphasis is put on honoring your body and allowing for both challenge as well as surrender. Enjoying your body as it is... Today and every day.

My life's work has lead me to the pleasure of teaching and sharing yoga.


I have fallen in love with all aspects of yoga on and off the mat.   Since completing my first Moksha Yoga 500 hr training and Anti-Gravity Yoga Level 4 Instructor (AFAA & NASM) trainings (2010), I have been sharing my passion and inspiring people through my grounded and heart-centred style of teaching.  I teach from the heart while holding space for you to explore the mind/ body connection and your wisdom from within.  I have worked with professional athletes and beginners to help them accomplish their personal goals around, breath, flexibility and strength training.
